Dr. Jörg Strese

Jörg is an energy economist with 25 years management experience in established European energy companies.
Jörg was formerly in executive management positions at Trianel and Envos, department head at Steag and evonik, and worked at OVAG aand RAG Saarenergie. Jörg pioneered the direct marketing of wind power (2011), the first development of virtual powerplants (2003) and the first commercial application of lithium ion batteries (2008) in the German market.
Jörg is an Industrial Engineer (Dipl. Wi. Ing.) from the University of Karlsruhe. He holds a doctorate in innovation economics from the Fraunhofer Institute of Systems and Innovation Research (ISI).
